Pic 1: Most posts and 6 horizontal I-beams are installed with welded east/west bracing. This is a tough install but it's going smoothly.
Pic 2: Plumbing install for water service as of 3:30 p.m. Thursday in TORR1. Welding time of this material seems very inefficient @ 1/2 hour per coupling.
Pic 3: Process tank liner #1 is finished. Estimated time of completion of 16 total is the end of October with one shift, but we'll likely have
2 shifts working to cut this time in 1/2.
Pic 4: Electrical panel install on the south side of anodizing line.
Notes:
*All infill panels are paint ready in the TORR spaces.
*Bathroom drywall hung at the anodizing space.
*OES working on the ventilation work.

Pic 1: Ducting being installed over the anodizing pit.
Pic 2: Firewall being installed at the south-west corner of the anodizing area.
Pic 3: Concrete for the chiller and generator completed.
Notes:
*All concrete is done except the partition wall near the caustic/sulfuric concentrate storage and at the trough location north of the anodize pit.
*The TORR space final is complete, TORR to move in Sept. 1st. Very minor work being finished up there.
*Murray Plumbing is installing the water service through the TORR space prior to their occupation.
*CO-PP is on site as of today. Waiting for power for welder and compressor to be installed, likely tomorrow.
*Scrubber is on site, interestingly it's made of PVC. Will be installed during the hoist frame erection.
*Prior electrical vandalism of the 4300 building to start, estimated time frame 1 to 1.5 weeks.
*Work in the weld shop is complete except for the welder outlet to be installed.
*Hoist frame to begin installation Monday 8/27/12.
*T&M work to fireproof the vertical posts on the north side of the anodizing pit approved. This work wont start until the hoist frame is installed.
*Process tanks approved for installation, but can't happen until after the hoist frame is installed.

Pic 1: Most interior concrete work is done.
Pic 2: The rough work in the weld room is complete. Finish and clean up to follow. Note the pre-existing crane framework.
Pic 3: The footing trench for the wall at the caustic/sulfuric holding tank area is dug.
Pic 4: Exterior concrete forms for the chiller and generator are being prepared.
Notes:
* PG&E has just installed the new gas lines to Caterpillar Rd.
* The trench is dug and electrical conduit is being placed for power to the sign monument west of the driveway.
* Concrete pouring is scheduled to be complete by this Monday 8/20/12, cleanup to last a few days extra.
* SAF's clean-out of the boiler basement has begun.
* Work for the security systems and door accesses to the community hallway have been set in motion, not complete.
* TORR space is finished less the roll up fire door. Water is on including water fountains.

ic 1 and 2: Concrete work in progress for the process tanks' pit and curbs.
Other notes:
*New main power cabinets are installed but not approved by the City yet. Still dark in most places.
*The concrete contractor expects to be done by late next week.
*Removal of the air handler and other misc work has started in the welding area.
*Gas lines have been installed through the building, PGE to begin their underground work next week.
*Wall framing has been installed on the south wall of the north warehouse for fire barriers.
*TORR bathrooms are painted and the linoleum floors are in. Doors are being installed today.
*The TORR space to be complete by Wednesday 8/15/12 with the exception of the roll up door which has been delayed 1-2 weeks.
*The common hallway and TORR spaces are being re-keyed. The "common entry" is being made ADA and Fire compliant.
*California Safety is altering the security system to accommodate the common hallway and TORR spaces.

Pic 1: The anodizing floor has concrete as well as the 2 large tanks.
Forms are being installed for the process tank curbs.
Pic 2: The new panels and electrical services are being installed.
Power is out in most of the building for about 7 days until this is completed.
